This assymetrical jacket is an original design by Lyric Montgomery Kinard, who hand dyed her fabrics then reverse applique'd and trapunto'd lime green frogs in narrow strips of silk noil, all by machine. Strips were
then positioned and appliqued to an interlining forming the shell of the jacket which had been designed on a dressform. Leaf stencils were designed and applied. The frogs were positiioned to climb the back of the jacket in
search of the yummy dragonflies printed here and there. Delicate beading accents the neckline without being too apparent. The calf length full circle skirt of silk charmeuse subtly echoes the jacket with resist dyed frogs
circling the hem.
