Sisters was created the summer my two brothers got married a day apart from each other. We realized that now we knew who all of the sisters in our family were. Although each of us is a unique individual we are family, connected by blood and marriage. This quilt was cut into six strips and made into covers for six photo albums, made with hand-made paper, containing pictures of all of us as sisters, as well as a picture of the complete quilt.
