5 ways to appliqué

6 hour format
Skill level: beginner to intermediate
Sewing machine (zigzag) and iron required

If you’ve never tried appliqué this is the class for you! Create an adorable fish block perfect for a wall hanging or child’s quilt while expanding your horizons beyond straight lines and piecing. Students will learn applique methods including cutaway, machine, stripes and stems, hand, fusible, and circles.

SUPPLIES AND NOTIONS
Zig-zag capable sewing machine (Oiled and clean, with extra bobbins!)
Extension cord
YLI or Sulky Monofilament or Invisible Thread (clear)
Schmetz machine needle (75/11 or smaller - jeans, microtex or universal)
Paper scissors and sharp fabric scissors
Pencil and paper for notes
Glue stick
Lamp (optional)
